Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00) with some weekend shifts required.
We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in High-Risk Labor and Delivery, Antepartum care, and managing maternal emergencies. Candidates should be comfortable floating between units and possess a strong skill set related to obstetric care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide acute care for high-risk laboring patients.
- Monitor and manage maternal and fetal well-being throughout the labor process.
- Administer medications and implement treatment protocols as necessary.
- Assist with high-risk deliveries including C-sections.
- Educate and support patients regarding childbirth and postpartum care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Valid RN license (WA or Compact).
- Minimum of 2 years of charge experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate. - Experience with Epic charting system is required.
