Schedule
- Block schedule required (for first-timers) - Weekends: every other weekend; 3 weekend shifts per contract
Assignment Details
- Daily census: ~10 - Beds/Rooms: 20
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in NICU or LDRP (postpartum and labor experience required) - Valid WA or Compact RN license at time of submission
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, AWHONN (Beginner / Intermediate), NRP
- Experience with patient ratios: 1:1–2 (labor), 1:3–4 (postpartum couplets) - Unit-specific skills: labor and delivery, postpartum care, newborn assessment/resuscitation, EFM/IUPC/Internal monitoring, C-section scrub/recover, hemorrhage management, neonatal care/couplets, IVs/infusions, medication administration
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery, postpartum, and antepartum.
- Conduct newborn assessments and perform necessary resuscitation if required.
- Monitor patients throughout the labor process using electronic fetal monitoring and other techniques.
- Assist in surgical procedures related to childbirth, including C-sections.
- Educate patients and families on care strategies and newborn care.

- Must provide last 4 of SSN during compliance
- Requested time off must be listed at time of submission; post-submittal RTO NOT approved
- References: 2 references covering 1 year within last 3 years (can include Charge RN/Lead) - Travelers expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal may result in termination/forfeiture of hours
- Pre-start modules required (avg ~16 hours); recorded in Workramp
