Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse (Rn) - Night Shift

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide care for high-risk obstetric patients and will float between units as necessary. This position requires the ability to work weekends, with some weekend shifts expected.

Responsibilities:

• Manage acute care for high-risk labor and delivery patients including antepartum and postpartum care.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor fetal heart rates.
• Provide support for various maternal emergencies including pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and VBAC/TOLAC management.
• Administer medications and manage IV fluids, including the use of insulin drips and magnesium sulfate therapy.
• Assist in all aspects of labor and delivery, including circulating for C-sections and recovering post-operative patients.
• Educate and support patients and families through the birthing process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current WA RN license or valid compact RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
