LDRP RN – Labor and Delivery
Schedule:
Weekends:
Every other weekend; number of weekend shifts per contract: 3 On-call when low censused
Assignment Details:
Daily census: ~10 patients Patient ratio experience: 1:1–2 (labor), 1:3–4 (postpartum/couplets)
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year RN experience Labor and postpartum experience required NICU or LDRP experience specified Community hospital experience required Valid state RN license (compact license must be in-hand at submission)
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, AWHONN (Beginner/Intermediate), NRP
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage labor and delivery processes, including vaginal delivery and VBAC support. Provide postpartum care and manage couplet care (mother/baby). Conduct newborn assessments and manage basic newborn issues. Assist with C-section procedures, scrub, and provide recovery care. Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns and manage complications such as postpartum hemorrhage.

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays. Pre-approved time off:
Two requests allowed. Only one facility submission allowed at a time. References: 2 required covering 1 year within the last 3 years (can include Charge RNs/Leads).
