Clinical Director
Clinical Director role leading Home Health & Hospice operations near Spokane, WA. This leadership position oversees clinical operations, regulatory compliance, staff development, and quality improvement to ensure high standards of patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of Home Health and Hospice services
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, Medicare, and accreditation standards
- Supervise, mentor, and support clinical staff including nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor quality metrics, patient outcomes, and operational performance indicators
- Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to support patient care needs
- Lead performance improvement and risk management initiatives
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development activities
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and timely completion of required reports
- Collaborate with physicians, community partners, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Support census growth and program development efforts
- Foster a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care and clinical excellence
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within service areas as needed
- Minimum of one year of Home Health and/or Hospice experience
- Previous Clinical Director or healthcare leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Home Health and Hospice regulations, standards, and reimbursement models
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance
- Proven leadership, team-building, and staff development skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Skills:
- BSN degree
- Current BLS certification
- Previous management or director-level experience within Home Health or Hospice settings
- Experience with Medicare Conditions of Participation and survey readiness
- Knowledge of EMR systems and healthcare operations management
- Demonstrated success leading interdisciplinary teams
