Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Neurology)

Spokane, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends required (every other weekend)

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with a neurology focus, maintaining a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for post-surgical neurology patients and patients with varied neurology diagnoses
• Administer and interpret the NIH Stroke Scale accurately and consistently
• Float between units as needed within the facility or nearby sister facilities
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Neurology nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard travel candidate (locals accepted at a modified rate)
• Must provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

• Experience in a Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma, or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and neurology-specific patient populations
• Experience caring for post-surgical neurology patients

• Work at a large, well-established acute care teaching facility with a Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma designation
• No on-call requirements and no parking fees, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent patient care
