Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Neurology)

Spokane, WA

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with a focus on neurology diagnoses, including post-surgical neurology patients
• Utilize the NIH Stroke Scale proficiently as part of ongoing neurological assessments
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
• Float between units as needed within the facility or to nearby sister facilities
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, with neurology experience required
• Proficiency with the NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience caring for post-surgical neurology patients and varied neurology diagnoses
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler

• Experience working in a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma, or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a neurology or neuro-telemetry setting

• Work at a large, established acute care facility with a Level II Trauma designation and a robust teaching environment
• Complimentary on-site parking provided for the duration of your assignment
