PCU RN - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleNight shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required every other weekend.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated PCU RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will float between units as needed and provide high-quality nursing care to patients in our Progressive Care Unit.
Responsibilities- Manage patient care for a caseload of 4 patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying any changes in status.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting.
- Active RN license (compact license required).
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS. - Experience with Epic charting system.
- Knowledge of patient care protocols, including medication administration and monitoring.
