American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring cardiac drip titration experience and a WA or compact RN license.

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown of a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Cardiac telemetry patient population requiring drip titration and management
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required between units, with priority given to Telemetry or Med-Surg floors when overstaffed
• Epic EMR used for charting

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of PCU or stepdown nursing experience required
• Cardiac drip titration and management experience is a hardstop requirement
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

• Provide nursing care within a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Facility is a teaching hospital with 629 staffed beds
• Scrub color for RNs is any color
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Must reside within 50 miles to be considered for local candidate status at a lower bill rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No fee for parking
