Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4 ten-hour shifts per week (Monday–Thursday), 9:00 AM–7:30 PM | On-site
Key Responsibilities- Provide post-anesthesia care to adult and occasional pediatric patients in a 6-bed PACU unit, maintaining primarily 1:1 patient ratios
- Monitor and document patient recovery using Space Labs monitoring equipment and the Paragon EHR system
- Respond to patient needs across a range of surgical cases including orthopedic, OB/GYN, and general surgery procedures at a Trauma Level 3 facility
- Participate in call requirements, including 4 call shifts per month with one weekend of call
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Active RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to the Paragon EHR system
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- Strong PACU background with experience caring for both adult and pediatric post-surgical patients
- Familiarity with Space Labs monitoring equipment
- Experience working in a teaching hospital or Trauma Level 3 environment
- Work in a full-service surgical services department at a well-established regional hospital serving the Tri-Cities area of southeastern Washington, with access to a vibrant community known for outdoor recreation, wine country, and convenient regional travel connections
- Scrubs are provided, and no float requirements are associated with this role
