Kennewick, Washington CRNA Locum Tenens Opportunity
Independent CRNA-Only Practice | 40 Hours Guaranteed | 4 Weeks On / 1 Week Off

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced CRNA for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Kennewick, Washington. This is an independent, CRNA-only anesthesia practice with a broad surgical case mix, guaranteed weekly hours, and a structured rotation that provides one week off after every four weeks worked.

Prior experience practicing successfully in a CRNA-only model is required.

Schedule & Rotation

• 4 weeks on / 1 week off
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Typical workweek averages approximately 44 hours
• Combination of 8- and 10-hour shifts
• Typical week: 3 × 8-hour shifts + 2 × 10-hour shifts
• Paper anesthesia charting; no EMR

Call

• 1 call shift per week
• Every 5th weekend
• Primary call for the OR
• Backup call coverage for OB
• First out post-call

Anesthesia Case Mix

CRNAs independently manage a varied surgical caseload spanning:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics — primarily bread-and-butter cases
• Podiatry
• Gynecology
• Neuro/Spine — spine cases only; no cranial cases
• Urology
• Dental cases including nasal intubations
• GI

No cardiac cases.

The hospital supports an established surgical program across multiple specialties, giving experienced CRNAs meaningful case variety without cardiac or cranial neuro responsibilities.

Regional & Procedural Skills

Strong regional anesthesia and line skills are highly preferred, particularly experience with:

• TAP blocks
• PECS blocks
• Rectus abdominis blocks
• Line placement

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Previous independent, CRNA-only practice experience required
• Comfortable independently managing the listed surgical case mix
• Comfortable with required OR call and backup OB call
• Regional block and line experience strongly preferred
