Job OverviewWe are looking for a Training Associate to support the QA Training department and lead trainer‑led GMP classes. The role focuses on instructional design, facilitation of GMP training, and support of training initiatives to maintain compliance with cGMP requirements in the facility.
Responsibilities- Utilize instructional design techniques to coordinate, create, and maintain instructor‑led training (ILT) and computer‑based training (CBT) programs.
- Facilitate GMP training courses for all employee levels.
- Coordinate training events initiated by the QA Training Department.
- Assist in creating training guides.
- Write, edit, and review departmental protocols and SOPs.
- Verify facility‑wide training and advance SOPs in the document management system per required procedures.
- Perform routine audits of training records to ensure compliance.
- Serve as the Training Coordinator for all departments within JHS‑S.
- Provide backup support and troubleshooting for JHS‑S learners and training coordinators related to the LMS.
- Assist with processing of training forms in the LMS.
- New hires for the company.
- Site‑wide, all departments.
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferred majors: Adult Education, Organizational Development, or Instructional Design).
- Teaching certification desired.
- Minimum 3 years of experience (or 7 years in lieu of a degree).
- Certification as a trainer or 6 months of training‑related experience required.
- Experience with electronic documentation management system and/or LMS required.
- Pharmaceutical experience (desired).
- FDA‑regulated industry experience (desired).
- Experience training in corporate environments; understanding of CFR
21, GDP, GMP, ISO (desired). - Advanced vocational/specialized knowledge.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
- Attention to detail/accuracy.
- Group facilitation skills.
- E‑learning knowledge (desired).
- Understanding of cGMP concepts in relation to training compliance.
- Basic communication skills.
- Conflict management and influencing outcomes.
- Service orientation.
- Problem‑solving ability.
- Capacity to work in a routine environment with simple rules and detailed instructions.
- Ability to identify problems and seek solutions effectively.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted.
- Prolonged sitting and standing.
- Manual dexterity.
- Repetitive activity (data entry).
Spokane, WA – On Site, Full‑Time.
ShiftDays:
Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM.
Hiring wage: $27.91 – $37.74 hourly, with opportunities for growth, promotion, and annual raises.
