Overview
Under the general direction of the Manager of Support Services, the Food Services Specialist assists in managing and coordinating the operation of a large and/or multiple food service production/service unit(s). Prepares and serves food as needed.
All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, and to be a positive representative of the hospital at all times. Qualifications- Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training:
Completion of a food service-related program, such as hotel and/or restaurant management, or Certified Dietary Manager, or 4 years of food service institutional or restaurant management experience. - Upon hire:
National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority
- Serv Safe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association

Pay and benefits
:
The posted wage range is $23.84 - $36.48. The placement within the range is based on experience and other factors. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
