Jacksons is seeking a dependable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring timely and accurate food service. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food according to store recipes.
• Prepare food quickly and in a safe manner.
• Follow all food safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stock and prep ingredients for daily use.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and organized.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift: part-time 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Qualifications/

Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED

Physical Environment:

• Light work:
  Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
• Lift up to 40 pounds. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift with repetitive motions including bending, twisting, and moving quickly during busy hours.
• Must be comfortable working in a warm kitchen.
