Job SummaryAssist Facility Management in the operation of a Goodwill retail facility. Follow specific guidelines and operate with minimal supervision. Must have a valid driver’s license with personal auto insurance, pass a background and driver record check, and be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications- High School diploma or GED.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training.
- Demonstrated knowledge of merchandise, cash register operation, and change making.
- Effective communication using tact and courtesy.
- Outgoing, pleasant personality with appropriate grooming and hygiene.
- Comply with Goodwill’s employment practices and EEO guidelines and policies.
- Comply with all health, safety, and fire standards, including WISHA & OSHA.
- Provide outstanding customer service to customers and donors.
- Operate the cash register and manage cash handling accurately.
- Adhere to Goodwill’s policies, procedures, directives, and the high standards of operations.
- Maintain the facility and surrounding premises neat, clean, and free of safety hazards.
- Ensure safety procedures are understood and followed.
- Train and evaluate employees in a thorough, organized, and timely manner.
- Maintain all store records.
- Ensure proper management of personnel assigned to the store.
- Ensure quality control standards meet Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest’s high standards.
- Maximize financial performance; identify deviations from desired results.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain agency confidentiality; violations may result in immediate dismissal.
- Other duties as assigned.
