Responsibilities- Welcome all customers and set expectations with them.
- Custom‑fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
- Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
- Use technology accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and using appropriate tools.
- Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, ensure customers are satisfied and expectations exceeded, and drive solutions.
- Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
- Take pride in store appearance, help keep the store clean, attractive, and organized.
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
- Be resourceful and self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
- Embrace new technology and change.
Pay Range: 21.89 – 34.14
Compensation and BenefitsEmployee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may complement a first‑class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
