In the Nordstrom Beauty Department, we strive to make customers feel their best. As a member of the Nordstrom Beauty community, you will create personalized beauty experiences for both in‑store and digital customers and be part of a passionate team that values your unique skills.

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products based on a customer’s beauty goals.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
• Set and achieve sales goals for both in‑store and digital selling, using selling tools including text and social media.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in‑store Beauty events and services.
• Keep the department customer‑ready through organization and cleanliness.
• Stay current on the latest beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through trainings provided by Nordstrom and brand partners.
• Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges while building customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.

• Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare.

• Empathy and respect for all customers, providing a supportive environment during makeup and skincare application.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.

• Continuous movement for 6‑8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Handling bulky or awkward items, including reaching for and lifting above the head.
• Regularly lifting items weighing up to 10pounds, and occasionally up to 25pounds.

Pay range: $20.95 – $21.80 per hour
. Commission rates vary by merchandise: apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%; beauty and men’s fragrance sales roles typically receive 3% commission.
