Regional Manager - Consumer Direct Sales plays a critical role in bringing the TDS consumer value proposition directly to customers across the Spokane, WA region and surrounding Inland Northwest communities. The position drives revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing relationships through TDS’s full suite of products, particularly in Outof Territory (OOT) and growth markets.
In this role, you will lead and manage all in‑person, door‑to‑door sales teams supporting the Spokane regional footprint, ensuring customers experience a trusted, local, and customer‑first approach. You will provide strategic and day‑to‑day leadership for Consumer Direct Sales teams, partner and referral programs, and third‑party contractors, while driving market share across diverse urban, suburban, and rural communities. Success requires the ability to effectively lead remote, field‑based teams and stay closely connected to local market conditions and customer needs.
You will own the performance of your region end to end—managing revenue and expense budgets, shaping compelling offers, and ensuring strong execution in the field. A core part of your impact will come from hiring, developing, and coaching high‑performing sales leaders and frontline teams who represent the TDS brand in neighborhoods throughout the region.

Responsibilities- Manage existing direct sales teams and drive activity and sales results from door knocking, partner/referrals, property owner MDU partnerships, local event participation, and potential partnerships with external door‑to‑door vendors to ensure the region meets or exceeds sales targets.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a team of sales supervisors and Direct Sales Reps that deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience by using a consultative sales approach and selling TDS’s entire suite of products.
- Collaborate with the Marketing teams to develop strategies and promotional programs in support of overall sales channel goals.
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of professional work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing.
- 4+ years of leadership experience.
- Must be able to travel a minimum of 20% annually.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: take ownership of business opportunity development, seek new revenue opportunities, and persist in challenging environments.
- Ability to secure support and cooperation from individuals outside your span of control and sell others.
- Winning “can‑do” attitude and strong work ethic with a track record of success.
- Demonstrated success in telecommunications sales.
- Ability to set goals, create work plans, measure performance, and adjust to achieve objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to persuade others.
- Experience in management or mentoring roles.
