Trident Consulting is seeking a Sales Development Representative
” for one of our client in Spokane, WA . A global leader in business and technology services.
Contract
Duration: 12+ Months (Extension Possible)
Pay Rate: $29/hr. on W2 + Uncapped Commission
OTE:
Approx. $1,900/month additional commission
Locations:
Spokane, WA / Cookeville, TN / Chattanooga, TN / Hilo, HI / Kona, HI / Gaylord, MI / Bozeman, MT / Honolulu, HI / Corpus Christi, TX / Paducah, KY / Charleston, WV / Macon, GA
Candidates must live within 40 minutes of the location
Position Overview
- The client is seeking an Associate Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) to join its Outside Sales team supporting emerging markets. This role focuses on acquiring new restaurant partnerships across assigned territories, driving business growth, and expanding Client’s presence in underserved markets.
- This is a highly field-focused role requiring frequent travel and face-to-face sales activity with restaurant owners and operators.
- Build new restaurant partnerships within assigned territories
- Travel to emerging/rural markets to expand Door Dash market presence
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with restaurant owners and decision-makers
- Manage a fast-paced, transactional sales cycle and close deals quickly
- Sell restaurant partners on the value of joining Door Dash
- Negotiate partnership and revenue share agreements
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and utilize sales enablement tools
- Maintain territory activity and travel compliance requirements
- 2.5+ years of sales experience in closing roles or related sales positions
- Experience selling to SMB customers strongly preferred
- Restaurant, food service, hospitality, or food & beverage sales experience preferred
- Comfortable with frequent travel (50%+ travel required)
- Strong outside sales and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in field-based environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Outside / Territory sales
- Food delivery, hospitality, or restaurant industry exposure
- Fast-paced transactional sales environments
- Territory travel required (50%+ travel)
- Most travel within 2 hours of assigned city
- Occasional longer travel days (6–7 hour drives or flights)
- Travel expenses covered by company
