- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (DOE)
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (start and finish times will vary based on business need)
- Occasional overnight travel
- Will travel 120 to 140 miles a day
As a Sales Rep - In Training, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Sales Team in that area. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks focused on executing our Smart Stock program, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing merchandising and sales support. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with customers in the sales region and supporting the Sales Team in addressing their needs and concerns.
Your professionalism and business execution are critical contributions to driving business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.
In this role, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting customer accounts, learning our product portfolio, and developing the skills needed to succeed in a fast‑paced, relationship‑driven sales environment.
Position Responsibilities- Maintain a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
- Maintain and execute the Smart Stock program (racks, plan‑ogram, ordering, and merchandising activities).
- Identify and reduce out‑of‑stock on shelves.
- Ensure products are fresh and within date‑code parameters.
- Attend customer needs and concerns promptly.
- Ensure plan‑ogram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
- Identify display opportunities and maximize display positioning.
- Ensure that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
- Find solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 months of experience in a customer‑facing role, merchandising, or sales position.
- Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
Pay: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour DOE
