AQS is expanding in the U.S. and looking for a driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our growth in the West starting immediately.
The western U.S. is facing a critical need for smarter water management and AQS is well positioned to play a leading role moving forward. We provide cutting-edge IoT & AI solutions to help utilities detect leaks, reduce water loss, and improve sustainability.
The OpportunityWe are seeking a high-energy Regional Sales Manager to spearhead our expansion across the western United States calling on public and private water utilities.
This is a new territory and requires a "Hunter" who is driven to succeed and equally comfortable presenting in a boardroom and getting hands-on in the field to ensure successful results.
Target Region:
Candidates must reside in one of the following states:
California, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, or Washington.
- Drive Sales: Identify, develop, and expand opportunities with public and private water utilities while managing relationship with AQS distributors. Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from opportunity to deal closure in this new territory for AQS.
- Partner Management: Grow relationships with distribution partners through training and direct engagement with their sales team.
- Technical Pilots: Assist with the setup and execution of Leak Detection Pilots to guarantee successful outcomes.
- Field Representation: Represent AQS at industry conferences and trade shows.
- Travel: Ability to travel >50% of the time across the region.

Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of sales experience specifically in the Water Utility space
. - IoT & Digital Expertise: Proven track record selling Internet-of-Things (IoT), digital, or software-based solutions, metering technology, AMI/AMR, etc. in the utility space.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
- Hands-on Mindset: A proactive "self-starter" who is comfortable with technical demonstrations and identifying and developing sales opportunities.
- Communication: Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
