Overview

Wilbert Precast, Inc. is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our internal sales team. This role focuses on supporting a wide range of underground and site amenities products, providing outstanding service to clients, and supporting internal sales processes. This is an inbound-focused position, handling incoming calls, walk-ins, and general customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to inbound calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries regarding Wilbert Precast products.
  • Provide detailed product information, pricing, and technical support to customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team to drive sales and achieve revenue goals.
  • Assist with order entry, quoting, and tracking to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of company products, services, and sales processes.
  • Support sales team with administrative tasks, documentation, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Identify customer needs and provide solutions that align with their project requirements.
  • Track and report on sales metrics, including leads, orders, and customer feedback.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate customer records and product databases in CRM systems.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in business, sales, construction management, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience with septic systems or other precast concrete infrastructure.
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or technical support; experience in construction, underground infrastructure, precast concrete, or site amenities preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, handling high volumes of inbound inquiries, and contributing to team success.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical product details.
  • Knowledge of construction industry products, terminology, and project workflows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems; experience with Salesforce or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to assess customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Professional, positive, and customer‑focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support other departments as needed.
  • Comfortable learning technical product specifications and applying them to client solutions.
