Position

Purpose:

Kitchen Designers at The Home Depot help customers turn their kitchen and bath dreams into reality. They greet and engage customers, listen to their needs, and guide them through the design process—offering “good, better, best” options, samples, and expert advice on products, services, and installation. Designers use design tools and showroom resources to educate customers, set clear expectations, and provide tailored solutions for every project, whether they’re DIYers or working with professionals.

They advocate for customers by highlighting current promotions, financing options, and the advantages of choosing Home Depot over competitors. They also ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and well‑stocked, creating a welcoming and safe shopping environment. Throughout each project, designers follow up on project statuses, address questions, and guide customers every step of the way.

Sick time:
In Washington State (Spokane, Tacoma) temporary and salary associates earn 1 hour for every 40 hours. Full‑time associates earn 1 hour for every 40 hours or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater. Part‑time associates earn 1 hour for every 40 hours or 2 hours per month, whichever is greater. In Seattle, temporary and salary associates earn 1 hour for every 30 hours;

full‑time associates earn 1 hour for every 30 hours or 4 hours per month; part‑time associates earn 1 hour for every 30 hours or 2 hours per month, whichever is greater.
