We are seeking a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to cover the Vancouver, WA territory, including Olympia South, as part of Intra‑Cellular Therapies, a Johnson & Johnson company. The role involves meeting or exceeding sales expectations within the territory while maintaining ethical and compliant practices. The specialist will develop in‑depth product and disease state knowledge to engage in clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals, create local strategic and tactical plans, manage budgets and resources, and provide accurate administrative management of sales data.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in‑person and virtually.
- Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customers’ needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share information with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region and select appropriate programs/resources for each customer.
- Collaborate with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all objectives.
- Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists to share best practices.
- Administer work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, sample and expense reporting, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Develop a business plan based on deep customer insights and product knowledge.
- Complete all company and job‑related training within required timelines.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare sales/account management or business‑to‑business sales; or recent transition from active‑duty military.
- 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Experience with launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Passion for improving patients’ lives and patient‑centricity.
- Integrity and adherence to Company compliance policies.
- Strong self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, decision‑making judgment, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Track record of learning and adapting in evolving environments such as COVID‑19.
- Agility to adapt to changing telemedicine/virtual environments.
- Data/metrics analysis to assess progress and identify opportunities.
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information.
- Willingness to work outside normal hours, travel overnight, and make domestic travel for corporate headquarters, training, and sales meetings.

Base salary range: $79,000 - $155,000
