Position: Route Sales Specialist (Fleet Tires) - Spokane Valley, WA
Location: Spokane Valley

General Description

As the Fleet Tire Sales Specialist (Commission) role, you are responsible for selling new and retreaded commercial truck tires and related products and services by managing current customer accounts and developing new accounts. You must also produce sufficient sales volume to achieve assigned sales objectives. Represent the company professionally through team image and service readiness. Through training, you will develop knowledge of the company's products and services and be able to educate others.

You will also monitor and report on market intelligence which affects business and pricing.

Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42,000 - $60,000 an annually. Selected candidates may be eligible for benefits including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, sick and vacation time, and tire discounts.

Responsibilities
  • Actively seek and develop new accounts and represent the company to potential customers.
  • Frequent local travel to customer sites.
  • Sell company supported products and services.
  • Meet sales goals set by management.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations using a value selling approach.
  • Attend sales training and continually build product knowledge.
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting of commercial tires and wheels.
  • Create or increase truck tire sales through a planned program of regular solicitation.
  • Schedule fleet service appointments and coordinate with the service department.
  • Conduct fleet needs evaluations and provide cost analysis and benefits to customers.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and proper handling of customer casings.
  • Deliver tires to customers as needed.
Basic Requirements
  • 2+ years of successful sales and/or business-to-business experience.
  • Valid driver's license for the required vehicle and ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • No relocation offered.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree in related field.
  • Previous B2B sales experience.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work safely.
  • Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced team environment.
  • Self-starter, willing to take initiative, work without direct supervision, and attend training sessions.
