Rental Sales Agent - PT

Pay

$17.50/hour, unlimited commission; bi‑weekly hourly wage plus commission/incentive/bonus plan with unlimited earning potential. New York and Puerto Rico pay weekly.

• Rent vehicles and promote Avis Budget Group products and services at airport rental counters.
• Process rental contracts, actively listen to customer needs, and recommend products and services that enhance their travel experience.
• Use a consultative approach to upsell while delivering professional, friendly service that builds trust and customer loyalty.

• On‑the‑job training to enhance professional sales skills.
• Employee discounts, including discounted car rental and discounted prices on the purchase of Avis/Budget cars.
• Other benefits may vary based on full‑time/part‑time status and location.

• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills (typing, data entry).
• Professional, engaging, and customer‑focused personality.
• Comfort with recommending products and services based on customer needs.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Ability to sit, stand, and type for prolonged periods.
• Minimum 18 years of age and
  * legally authorized to work in the United States*.
• Position requires regular on‑site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
• Six months of real‑estate, retail, or consultative sales experience in a fast‑paced environment is a bonus.
