HVAC Comfort Advisor
Cline's Heating & Air is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Comfort Advisor who puts people over profits and is dedicated to earning customers for life. In this consultative sales role, you'll act as a trusted expert, educating homeowners on HVAC systems, energy savings, and maintenance best practices while building long-term relationships.

Spokane, WA (serving North Idaho & Eastern Washington)

- Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and recommend HVAC solutions.
- Educate homeowners on system options, rebates, financing, and energy-efficiency incentives.
- Prepare detailed proposals and estimates, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Build long-term relationships with customers, ensuring a trusted and professional experience.
- Follow up with potential and existing customers to nurture relationships, close sales, and confirm satisfaction.
- Offer and educate customers on add-on products such as indoor air quality systems, humidifiers, smart thermostats, UV lights, and more.
- Ensure installers are equipped with the tools, materials, and information they need for on-time, efficient installations.
- Collaborate with experienced technicians and installers, providing support, answering questions, and maintaining open lines of communication.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with customers, installation teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Stay informed on the latest HVAC products, trends, and advancements to provide expert recommendations.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of leads, tracking sales progress and customer interactions.
- Work closely with installation teams to ensure smooth project execution and a flawless customer handoff.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience before, during, and after installation.
- Represent Cline's AC with professionalism, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Proven sales track record in the HVAC industry, with at least 2 to 3 years of experience.
- In-depth technical knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to articulate complex maintenance and product benefits.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop lasting business relationships.
- Strong consultative sales approach (our goal is to create customers for life, not just make a sale).
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or a strong ability to learn technical products quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (building trust with homeowners is key).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed in a competitive market.
- Proficient with CRM software, proposal creation, and lead tracking.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for in-home appointments.
- This is a commissioned job (uncapped earning potential).
