Parts Advisor – Outside Sales

Dealership: Camp Chevrolet – L0051

Pay: Commission based, earning potential $40k‑$50k annually

Schedule: Mon‑Fri, with some overnight travel a few times per month.

Ideal Candidate
  • 1–3 years of experience in automotive parts or service departments, preferably in a dealership setting.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a fast‑paced dealership.
  • Strong understanding of automotive parts, vehicle systems, and manufacturer parts catalogs (especially Chevrolet).
  • ASE Parts Specialist certification is a plus.
  • CDK experience preferred.
  • Ability to navigate technology with ease.
  • Confident in upselling or suggesting related parts or accessories.
  • Ability to manage inventory, track orders, and ensure the accuracy of parts fulfillment.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Available for overnight travel a couple times per month.
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with customers and vendors via phone, in‑person, or email.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
  • Order parts and create invoices in ADP.
  • Receive, unpack and store automotive parts.
  • Process core returns, parts warranties, and parts returns.
  • Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
