Aerotek Sales Development Representative
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for learning the fundamentals of recruiting and sales, including prospecting, client engagement, requirement qualification, and delivery. They identify target accounts in a defined territory, make cold calls to set meetings with potential clients, and support revenue growth initiatives. This entry-level role provides a clear path toward becoming an Account Manager and involves working closely with Delivery and Sales teams to build client relationships and generate leads.
- Utilize the Aerotek 7 stages of the SOLVE model to target, engage, and serve new and existing clients.
- Increase sales and market share through assigned and new accounts.
- Research and build call sheets using tools such as Linked In and Connected.
- Identify, develop, and manage new and existing customer relationships through lead generation resources.
- Complete Aerotek Account Manager Onboarding training.
- Generate leads, set and attend meetings within the defined territory.
- Negotiate bill rates and terms to maximize profitability while maintaining industry-standard labor rates.
- Maintain client accounts by providing quality contractors and proactively marketing ideal candidates.
- Participate in client site meetings, client manager interactions, and contractor lunches.
- Share account knowledge with recruiters, FOA, sales, and directors via “req meetings” and Red Zone meetings.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Directors to support territory planning and workforce strategy.
- Generate, document, and track all leads, performing outreach to targeted customers.
Upon successful completion of the salary‑equivalent hourly training period, Aerotek offers a base salary of $80,168.40 plus unlimited earning potential through weekly commissions, a monthly car allowance, cell phone reimbursement, and other performance‑based incentives.

Sales degree or certification, or 1–2 years of sales experience (internships and sales competitions encouraged).
