Outside Sale Representative

Western States Metal Roofing is looking for a driven, relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to help grow our presence throughout the Texas market.

This position is responsible for developing and growing an assigned territory through new business development, consistent customer engagement, and expansion of existing accounts. The ideal candidate is a motivated B2B salesperson who enjoys being in front of customers, developing long-term relationships, and turning opportunities into sales.

You will represent Western States Metal Roofing in the field while working closely with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, and Sales Leadership to provide customers with a high level of service and support.

• Develop and execute a strategy to grow sales throughout the assigned territory.
• Identify, prospect, and pursue new business opportunities.
• Maintain regular in-person visits with customers and prospects.
• Build and expand long-term relationships with existing accounts.
• Develop a strong understanding of each customer's business, projects, and needs.
• Present Western States Metal Roofing products, capabilities, and solutions.
• Prepare quotations and consistently follow up on open opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and work toward assigned sales goals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and document customer interactions.
• Provide sales forecasts and required territory reporting.
• Communicate customer feedback, competitive information, and market opportunities to leadership.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure customers receive excellent service.
• Continuously develop knowledge of metal roofing products, applications, and industry trends.

• 2+ years of outside sales experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and manage customer relationships.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage an assigned territory independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

• Experience in roofing, metal roofing, building materials, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Experience using CRM software.
• Existing relationships within the roofing, construction, architectural, or building-material industries are a plus.

Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 total earning opportunity
