Description
Grants and Contracts Administrator - Clinical Research at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA.
Under the direction of Clinical Research leadership, the Grants and Research Administrator assumes responsibility for the management of grants and contracts for the research program at Providence Inland Northwest Washington (INWA), specifically within the Providence Medical Research Center (PMRC). This position will ensure full compliance with both sponsor and organization rules and regulations, thereby reducing risk. The Grants and Research Administrator will work in partnership with caregivers at the Providence Research Organization (PRO) to achieve successful and compliant contract performance.
With the assistance of the Principal Investigator, the Study Team, and the Manager of Clinical Research, the Grants and Research Administrator will develop and submit all required documents to the PRO for review. Documents include, but are not limited to, budget, budget justification, statement of work, letter of support, letter of intent, etc. Performs additional duties under direction of the Manager of Clinical Research to ensure that the organization meets its financial and regulatory obligations.
This position requires strong attention to detail and organization.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Public Administration, or related field from an accredited college/university
- 5 years of closely related experience in healthcare, research, finance, accounting, education or legal fields
- 2 years of experience interpreting relevant regulatory requirements related to Federal Acquisition Regulation
- 2 years of skilled use of electronic software, applications, especially Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint, Power BI)
- Master's Degree
- 4 years of research/grant/healthcare administration experience

CompensationPosted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The placement will be determined based on relevant job experience and other factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
