Target Salary Range*: $122,000 - $129,000.

Position OverviewThe Program Security Representative I provides multi-discipline security support for one or more customer Special Access Programs. This position provides day-to-day multi-discipline analysis and security support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Program activities.
The role supports the development, execution, assessment, and improvement of security policies, procedures, and systems used to safeguard SAP, SCI, and collateral data in support of U.S. military operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesSpecial Access Program Security Support
- Provide multi-discipline security support for one or more customer Special Access Programs.
- Provide day-to-day multi-discipline analysis for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Program activities.
- Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral data in support of U.S. military operations.
- Ensure timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff.
- Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
- Provide day-to-day security support, including continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls.
- Provide recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures, and systems.
- Assist in providing contractor and subordinate facility assistance and oversight.
- Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on facility reviews, and facility close-outs.
- Monitor, report, and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.
- Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities.
- Conduct exploration of any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified and/or sensitive information.
- Conduct preliminary inquiries and generate damage assessments resulting from the loss of classified information.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and training the Operations Security program.
- Brief all levels of personnel, both in the government and senior civilian services, on a variety of security-related topics.
- Coordinate with SAP security personnel to ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the curriculum for the SAP security education and awareness program.
Education
Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Experience- 5–7 years of related experience.
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification may count toward 3 years of experience.
