Due to growth, Caljan Inc. is seeking Field Service Technicians to join their team in Spokane, WA.
If you have 3+ years of electromechanical experience and a related technical degree, or 5+ years of experience without formal education, this is an opportunity you need to explore!
This is a fully remote role that requires, on average, 75% travel. Everything required of technicians while they’re not traveling can be completed at home.

Field Service Technicians receive a company vehicle, cell phone, computer, and all necessary tools - Field Service Technicians are guaranteed a minimum of 80 hours of billable time per two-week period – no need to budget for a slow season!
- Install, integrate, repair and troubleshoot machinery of a complex and involved design requiring a high level of technical skill/knowledge.
- Ensure all established inspection, testing, quality and operating specifications are met.
- Direct and/or supervise customer’s employees or Caljan contractors during machinery installations and integrations or servicing.
- Identify and correct hardware or software discrepancies.
- Maintain a positive customer relationship.
- Identify new product opportunities and make recommendations for product improvements. After review of customer parts’ inventory, advise customer of necessary parts that should be included in customer stock.
- Support Caljan’s Customer Service team by receiving and responding to customers, contractors, Sales and other Caljan personnel’s technical inquiries.
- Function as a technical resource for the Sales Department’s Account Managers and Engineering Design Department (Electrical & Mechanical) to address and resolve inquiries and problems related to installation/integration or repair. Provide technical support for other departments (Operations, Accounting, Sales, etc.).
- Prepare accurate and timely trip reports that summarize work performed, status and condition of installed equipment and identify additional equipment/parts opportunities.
