YOU MUST BE ALREADY BE A LICENSED JOURNEYMAN ELEVATOR MECHANIC TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.

We're looking for a licensed elevator mechanic who takes pride in their work and wants a better day-to-day life. This role covers service, repair, and light modernization work across a manageable route.

You'll work with a small crew in a growing merit shop elevator company where your experience matters, your voice gets heard, and the focus stays on doing the job right.

What You'll Do

Service & Maintenance

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments
Diagnose issues and handle trouble calls efficiently
Communicate clearly with customers and the office

Repairs & Modernization Support

Complete mechanical and electrical repairs safely and cleanly
Support small modernizations and upgrades as needed
Document work accurately for service records and billing

Safety & Compliance

Follow all code, safety, and company procedures
Maintain clean, organized machine rooms, pits, and work areas
Participate in inspections and corrective actions

Team & Customer Interaction

Represent the company professionally on site
Work closely with dispatch, project managers, and leadership
Provide feedback to improve systems and workflows

What We're Looking For

Active elevator mechanic license
Strong troubleshooting skills and field judgment
Pride in clean, organized work
Reliable, accountable, and easy to work with
Comfortable working independently without micromanagement
