Mobile Diesel Mechanic​/Field Diesel Technician - Spokane, WA

We are hiring Mobile/Field Service Diesel Technicians for the Spokane, WA location. The role focuses on on‑road and customer on‑site maintenance of heavy‑duty diesel equipment, ensuring safe and reliable service to customers across the Pacific Northwest.

• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Apply working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C, and suspensions.
• Determine unit condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.
• Read schematics for electrical and air systems.
• Develop technical skills through training opportunities.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the mobile service truck.

• Two years or more heavy equipment dealership experience preferred.
• Three years of actual truck repair experience required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL‑A is a plus.
• Valid DOT medical examiner's certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Full complement of tools required for diesel equipment repair, including wrenches and sockets to 1 ¼", 3/8" and ½" drive air tools, floor creeper, and roll‑around tool cabinet.

Pay range: $20.00 – $50.00 per hour, based upon level of skill and experience.

Night shift, weekend shift, and lead/mentor differential pay available. Work schedule and shifts will vary depending on business needs; a wide range of shifts and schedules can be accommodated.

Working in, under, and around trucks and trailers. Ability to drive a vehicle, lift, push or pull objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 100 pounds; safely walk, reach, bend, climb, push, twist, squat, and kneel as necessary to perform the essential job duties. Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time. Use a telephone and computer.

Primarily outdoor work. High noise level. Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Coveralls, ear and eye protection provided.
