McMillen, Inc. is seeking experienced Foremen, Carpenters, and Laborers for a project in Joseph, OR. The project will start on July 20, 2026, and continue through the end of 2027. Additional long‑term work opportunities are expected in the Western Region.
All Construction Division offers of employment are contingent upon a successful background check, drug screen, and, as required by the client, a security clearance determined by the background check results.
Schedule RequirementsThese positions follow a six 10‑hour shift per week (6/10 schedule). Employees may also be assigned to a swing shift schedule based on project demands and operational needs.
Responsibilities- Foreman – Oversees and facilitates all aspects of on‑site construction activities. Leads a crew of 1 to 20 persons, obtains first‑hand knowledge of required execution, and works with the Superintendent from pre‑construction through project completion, contract closeout, and warranty.
- Carpenter – Fabricates, sets, and strips concrete forming systems; places, pours, repairs, and finishes concrete for heavy civil projects.
- Laborer – Performs demolition, hydro blasting, dewatering, and pump management. Experience with concrete batch plants is a plus. Assists other skilled crafts and performs additional duties as needed.
The job requires frequent standing, walking, and manual handling. The employee may need to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and may occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Pay Range$36.90 – $50.74 per hour (DOE) base wage plus prevailing wage and zone pay. Per diem is provided for temporary assignments 70+ miles from residence.
