Position Summary
Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands is looking for highly talented, dedicated and quality‑focused teammates to provide top tier service to our customers. We are hiring a Protech Calibration Technician Apprentice. In this paid apprenticeship you will receive mentorship and training to learn how to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) calibrations by following OEM specifications and repair standards.
Detailed responsibilities and daily activities are described below. Your training will be supported by a robust virtual team and ongoing education on new vehicle technology. The goal is to graduate from the apprenticeship to either a Protech Calibration Technician or an On‑Site Calibration role by the end of the 7th month.
Mobile technicians are provided with a company vehicle, cell phone, and laptop. All employees, including apprentices, receive 401(k) and health‑care packages that rival some of the largest automotive‑related companies in the U.S.
Responsibilities• Perform ADAS calibrations across a wide range of manufacturers.
• Follow OEM specifications and repair standards.
• Maintain an accurate record of work performed and calibrations completed.
• Learn and adapt to new vehicle technologies through ongoing training and virtual support.
• Work under the supervision of a senior technician while gradually increasing independence.
• Meet safety and quality standards at all times.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy.
- Be able to pass all pre‑employment screenings, including background and MVR checks.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience.
Abilities, Skills, and Knowledge- Perform consistent physical activity such as reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Understand written and verbal instructions.
- Prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast‑paced environment.
- Our mobile calibration technicians apprentice compensation: Up to $25.00 per hour.
