DescriptionWe are looking to hire an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in heavy equipment supporting industries including vegetation management, arborist operations, refuse, street sweeping, environmental solutions, and infrastructure support equipment.

Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment
- Perform repairs, component replacements, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Utilize ERP and service management systems to enter and update:
- Work Orders (WOs)
- Purchase Orders (POs)
- Parts requests
- Service documentation and technician notes
- Create accurate parts requisitions and maintain clear service records
- Generate detailed field service reports outlining work completed and issues resolved
- Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and safety concerns
- Provide excellent customer support and communicate repair recommendations clearly
- Support and mentor less experienced technicians as needed
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working on construction, heavy diesel, or industrial equipment
- Strong experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and troubleshooting
- Ability to utilize ERP systems and computer software for service documentation and workflow management
- Comfortable using laptops, tablets, email, and digital diagnostic tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in both shop and field environments
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Must possess a valid CDL license or successfully obtain one within 30 days of employment. Continued employment in this position is contingent upon maintaining a valid CDL and acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods of time
- Work is primarily performed in a service center/shop environment
- May occasionally be required to travel to and work at customer locations to perform field repairs and service work
- Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery in both shop and field environments
- Must be able to work in varying weather, noise, and temperature conditions as needed
