Prestress Millwright; Swing Shift

We have an excellent opportunity for a Plant Maintenance Millwright (Swing Shift) at our state-of-the-art precast concrete plant in Newman Lake, Washington.

• Help maintain and repair plants and equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic repairs and welding
• Complete all necessary paperwork
• Bring own basic hand tools;
  Knife River provides specialty or large tooling and has a replacement policy
• Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any unsafe actions, processes or behaviors observed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position is Safety Sensitive: work is performed in an industrial environment with large equipment and suspended loads.

Hours:

2:00 P.M. to 10:30 P.M. Must be able to work flexible shifts, including overtime, off shifts and weekends.

Wage Range: $26.58 - $40.70

• Previous plant maintenance, millwright or mechanic experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Welding and fabrication experience desirable
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen
