Most companies in this trade pay $22–27 for showing up, and the raise conversation is a hallway negotiation. We pay to the top of the Washington market and past it — and the entire path is printed on one page. You place at Tier 2 ($24–27) or Tier 3 ($27–31, with specialty tags) by showing the work, not talking about it.

The upper tiers ($31–38+, before adders) pay what this trade almost never pays, because the skills that earn them create value most companies can't deliver.

We'll ask you to prove it, not tell us about it. And maybe you've never done any of it to our standard — that's expected, because the standard is ours. Scripts at every customer touchpoint.
