Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll provide personalized support that empowers individuals to live independently, develop life skills, pursue personal goals, and engage in community activities. Available Schedules
We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions. Candidates must have flexible availability, including at least one weekend day.
Available shifts include:
- Days: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Swings: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Overnight: 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to successfully complete required fingerprint background screenings.
- Valid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current liability insurance.
- Willingness to transport supported individuals to appointments, shopping trips, recreational activities, and other community destinations. Training on agency vehicles may be provided.
- Ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings within designated time frames.
Starting wage: $21.50 per hour
Compensation increases are based on longevity and continued employment with The Arc of Spokane.

New employees may qualify for the following hiring incentives:
- $250 after 30 days of successful employment
- $500 after 90 days of successful employment
- $1,000 after 120 days of successful employment and completion of all required trainings
