Software Engineer Level 3 - Government (Fort Meade Columbia, MD area)

US Citizen / Greencard or EAD ONLY

Senior Software Engineer with experience as a Java full-stack developer. The successful candidate will have experience with developing all aspects of an application from the user interface to the backend where the needed data is stored at rest.

Required Skills/Experience :
Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity required.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

• Agile software environment
• Versed in SDLC model
• Experience utilizing corporate authentication services into a secure full stack solution
• Experience with managing large data sets in a user interface
• Experience delivering full stack solutions with large data sets
• Experience with developing a micro-services framework to support multiple products for customers
• Has developed code that uses reference databases to return and cache results for use by other systems
• Docker/Rancher
• Kubernetes, K&S
• Jenkins
• Git Hub and Gitlab
• Knowledge of commercial cloud service, preferably AWS
• Familiar with scripting in Python
• Jira and Confluence
• Proficient with Java
