Class A CDL Driver; Manual Transmission – Truck & Trailer

Wilbert Precast is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to transport precast concrete products. This role requires strong backing skills, manual transmission proficiency, and the ability to handle specialized loads that require careful securement and customer‑facing professionalism at delivery locations.

This position plays a key role in supporting production and service operations across multiple service areas while maintaining the company’s safety and quality standards.

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles with manual transmission
• Haul precast concrete products using truck and trailer combination
• Perform safe loading, unloading, and securement of concrete products
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and complete required documentation
• Deliver products to job sites, company facilities and cemeteries
• Safely back trailers into tight delivery areas
• Communicate with dispatch, production teams, and customers during deliveries
• Maintain clean equipment and report maintenance issues promptly
• Follow all DOT, company safety, and site‑specific regulations
• Assist yard crew with staging and loading when not driving

• Valid Class A CDL-Interstate
• Manual transmission certification/restriction-free license
• Experience operating truck and trailer combinations
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Strong attention to safety and situational awareness
• Flatbed or specialized freight hauling
• Load securement (chains/straps)
• Construction, concrete, or heavy materials delivery
• Forklift experience

• Local and regional deliveries (typically home daily)
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Occasional early morning start times
• Physical, hands‑on role
