Description

Established in 2006, Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a subsidiary of GSF, is a custom last‑mile distribution company specializing in tailored solutions for selected food service industry customers. Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, QCD services thousands of restaurants across the United States, providing over 37,000 deliveries a week from 25 strategically located distribution centers. The fleet averages more than 40 million miles driven per year.

QCD associates also help run the national non‑profit GSF Foundation.

Drive for more than just a paycheck. In this role you will operate a diesel‑powered tractor‑trailer on local routes, deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers, load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks (this is a 100 % touch‑freight role), complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, communicate clearly with dispatch and store personnel, and handle return loads while ensuring compliance.

• Operate a diesel‑powered tractor‑trailer on local routes – no layovers.
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers.
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks (100 % touch‑freight).
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members.
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance.

• A valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and at least one year of tractor‑trailer driving and delivery experience (preferred but not required). We welcome new drivers.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi‑temperature environments.
• Strong customer‑service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation.
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations.

• Dispatch at 4:00 PM – return home daily.
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• All trailers equipped with lift gates – no ramps.
• Touch freight with repetitive lifting of 50+ lbs.

• Component pay:
  Drivers are paid under a component‑based structure that varies by client and route, with average annual earnings typically ranging from $83‑$133k
  . Pay is based on set route pay: stops, mileage, and cases delivered.
• Weekly pay (every Friday).
