Fuel Transport Driver

Wilcox + Flegel seeks a dedicated and safety-focused Fuel Transport Driver who will deliver bulk fuel products to company-owned sites and customer locations. The position is local, with competitive pay and benefits, and offers consistent scheduling.

• Safely drive and operate a transport truck and trailer, including loading/unloading petroleum products in accordance with all regulations.
• Complete and transmit all required paperwork in compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and replace gaskets and other related items as necessary.
• Perform safety inspections on trucks, equipment, and facilities as required.
• Complete daily service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items.
• Strictly adhere to all DOT/Hazmat regulations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, injuries, or concerns promptly to the dispatcher.
• Be able to climb in and out of the fuel tank wagon and operate gear shift, brake, and gas pedals.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and capable of multitasking.
• Ability to assess competing demands and determine appropriate direction.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environment.
• Position is Safety Sensitive and subject to drug testing.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Two years of experience hauling hazardous materials (preferred).
• Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements, TWIC preferred.

• Must possess a Class A CDL.
