Heavy Equipment CDL Driver

CDL Delivery Driver, Spokane, WA
Salary range: $22-34 per hour.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime pay after 40 hours (subject to on‑call scheduling with additional compensation).

• Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Transport loads safely and in a timely manner, obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unload empty skids and return equipment to the designated area.
• Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; deliver documentation to shipping office or appropriate staff after each delivery route.
• Facilitate routine truck service (checking oil, water, gasoline, air); report maintenance malfunctions to Shipping Supervisor.
• Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Must hold either a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight.
• Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state regulations.
• Must pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10,000 lbs).
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.

• Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to travel frequently.
• CDL drivers may be required to be clean shaven to meet customer requirements.
• Position is safety sensitive; employment contingent on passing a 10‑panel drug screen.
