Transport Driver Responsibilities- Transport and escort residents to/from medical appointments, activities, outings, and general errands
- Ability to organize scheduled appointments throughout the day
- Drive a wheelchair lift van, which is specially equipped with an automatic lift
- Responsible for obtaining directions to the location before leaving facility
- Communicate with facility about any pertinent information related to resident transportation
- Monitor and report any changes in condition with assigned residents
- Complete all transports to/from appointments with promptness, communicating all late arrivals/departures to clinic/facility
- Assist on the floor answering call lights as a NAC when there is downtime
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure quality of care
- Work with appointment scheduler on scheduling appts and transport
- Ability to pass MVA Background Check
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fast and adaptive problem‑solving abilities
- In‑depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
- CNA preferred
- First aid and CPR certifications
