In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.

• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups
• Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily pickups to branch at the end of shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pickups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed
• Act as a floater for the logistics team when needed for various routes

• No experience or education required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 or more years of previous driver/courier experience
• Previous experience in health care, logistics or transportation environments

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Be at least 21 years old
• Very punctual with strong time‑management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem‑solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Hours vary Monday – Friday 12:00 pm to 12:00 am. Overtime and additional days and hours may be required.

$18.63 to $26.02 per hour, plus Shift 2 differentials.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including:
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, or casual, intern, and temporary employees, are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees working a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.

Employees will receive a company vehicle for their assigned route. For $125 per month, the vehicle may be taken home nightly for personal use.
