As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of robotic systems. This non-technical position involves a variety of tasks including moving materials, disposing of trash, and using pallet jacks. You will be involved in the installation of 20 robotic arms, 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing. Most work is performed on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels.

Tasks also include using power tools, cleaning the warehouse, and building robotic arms and stations.

• Move materials using pallet jacks and catalogue them.
• Use hand and air powered tools to commission towers according to diagrams.
• Follow step-by-step instructions accurately.
• Run wiring for power supply.
• Handle general labor tasks including heavy lifting and material handling.
• Assist project teams by commissioning, cleaning warehouse, and building robotic arms and stations.

• Ability to lift 40-50lbs consistently.
• Experience working 8 hours a day on a hard cement floor.
• Good attendance record.
• Capability to follow directions well.
• Flexibility to work in multiple positions, from inventory to housekeeping.

• Experience in material handling, robotics, general labor, construction, loading, packaging, and cleaning.

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the material handling industry while working on-site installations. The role is dynamic and provides exposure to various tasks and responsibilities in a high-visibility environment.

The work is conducted at an Amazon Distribution Center that is under construction, which can be messy, loud, and sometimes crowded. Visibility is high, so professionalism and presentability are required. Appropriate attire includes PPE such as a high visibility vest, glasses, hard hat, A6 gloves, and steel toe shoes/boots. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable, but loose and baggy clothing should be avoided.

This is a Contract position based out of Spokane, WA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Spokane,WA.
