Diesel Power Products is a cornerstone of the diesel industry. We have been in the industry for 20 plus years, growing our reputation with passion and knowledge. Some of the areas we have excelled are the ease of use on our site as well as the vast technical data we have shared through our years in the industry. To highlight that information and technical data we work really hard to control the customer service side of the business.

This position has a direct impact on that experience. We are looking to grow as a company and looking for hard working, positive, detail oriented personnel to assist in those efforts. As a General Warehouse worker you will be responsible for moving, shipping, storing or unloading various materials either by hand or with the use of machinery and may also be required to operate a forklift to unload very heavy items.

Their duties include unloading equipment, storing equipment, and moving and transporting materials. Warehouse Workers load materials for shipping and unload incoming shipments. They physically move products that are, or could be going out for shipment or coming in for storage. Warehouse Workers also count, sort, weigh, and unpack materials.

Responsibilities
  • Operate mechanical lift, winch, or vehicles
  • Load and unload materials
  • Take inventory of materials shipped or received
  • Store, count, weigh, and open materials received
  • Load and unload trucks and other vehicles for transporting goods
  • Fill warehouse orders
  • Label boxes to identify materials
  • Dispose of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
Qualifications
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of technology and machinery used for transporting or storing materials
  • Understanding of inventory
  • Awareness of Public Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries
  • Ability to use computer technology to make labels, track inventory and keep a record of storage
  • Ability to work well with others
